Craig Bramscher

Craig Bramscher

Founder & Partner | HangTen Venture Studio

Craig Bramscher is a Founder and Partner at HangTen Venture Studio, where he leads portfolio strategy, acquisitions, and AI systems deployment across the studio's ventures. He brings a rare combination of serial entrepreneurship, enterprise technology exits, and hands-on AI implementation — with a track record that spans every major technology wave since the mid-1990s.

Craig's career began with Maxperts, an Apple VAR he founded and sold in 1997. He followed that with Indulgent Arts, one of the earliest e-commerce companies, which he sold and used to land Sony as a client for his next venture, DreamMedia — an early music-on-the-web infrastructure company acquired and taken public. Each exit funded the next chapter.

His most significant venture was Brammo Inc., where Craig built an electric vehicle and powertrain company over twelve years — pioneering EV technology before it reached mainstream adoption. Brammo's technology was ultimately acquired by Cummins and Polaris, representing one of the most substantive independent EV exits of that era. The company earned recognition from Wired, GQ, Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, and Playboy, and Craig was named a FastCompany 10 Most Creative Person in Ethonomics in 2009 and an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist in both 2012 and 2013.

Following Brammo, Craig founded BramPlan Inc. as a holding company and consulting vehicle — then made a deliberate pivot to entrepreneurship through acquisition, applying the same build-and-compound philosophy to acquiring cash-flowing businesses and installing AI operating infrastructure on top of them. In November 2025, he acquired High Desert Property Management, a Central Oregon property management company with 850 doors under management. Within four months of closing, he deployed a proprietary AI operating system across the business — including an AI leasing agent, a custom Oregon tenant law compliance chatbot, an automated rent analysis engine, AI-tracked call systems, and a content automation layer through Konmashi. Two additional acquisitions are currently in LOI.

At HangTen, Craig drives the studio's portfolio strategy and partnership development, with a focus on ensuring every product is built with deep operational integration rather than surface-level AI features. His acquisition work provides the studio with a live proving ground — HDPM serves as the first and flagship client for Konmashi PM, giving the product real production data and a documented case study before it scales to the broader AppFolio property management market.
